CHAIR.

Framed for humans.

I never thought I would ever build a chair without a small black wrench and an IKEA manual in hand. I got to control the difficulty and the assembly in designing this furniture piece.

Contradiction.

I designed a chair that would be a focal point in a room, gripping the eyes of the occupants. Also, simple and sleek to where the chair can become un noticed with someone is placed inside.

Materiality.

When you are framed between the arms of the chair, you are sitting inside of a slim, strong natural feature. Made with hard maple, leather, and oak fasteners.

This chairs purpose is for sketching, bourbon, and sitting.
