FUTURISTIC
ARBORETUM:

This project I threw out all sensible design ideas. Our studio professor told us to take a 6 mile stretch along the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jumping forward 100 years into the future, we were asked to "try to restore the banks of the river."

Installing radical ideas such as:

-Hydroponic Towers

-Re contouring the Landscape

-Sky Bikes and the Pedestrian Paths

-Water access

-Water and Wind Turbines

-Planting Forests

-Green Houses

-Etc.

Required was to design these structures and features and organize them into a 10 minute video describing the aesthetics.

The photos on this page are stills from the video. I took a extremely unrealistic, conceptual master plan design style.
