MINIMALISM
Minimalism was an architecture seminar where the class learned about how less is more. We studied architecture practices, past and present on how minimalism can be the most effective. We learned about so much more as well, we studied; film, art, fashion, books, music, etc.

Over the course of the seminar we did several minimalistic projects. But I wanted to produce a project that is a cumulative representation of my knowledge from the course. So I wrote, designed, and produced “PICKING OUT A SHIRT.”

“PICKING OUT A SHIRT” is a 5 minute movie that slows down a standard event in time and really helps you notice the little things.
This situation is an event of the basic thoughts movements of 2 women picking out an outfit together. It is broken down in minimalism, from the rough background voices and sounds, the script, the colors, the set, the clothing, the movements, and the camera.
